At the beginning of my Narrative Illustration class we came up with our own stories to illustrate. I was really excited for this class because I would love to illustrate childrens books one day. These are a couple of the paintings that I have done for my story. It is about a prince who decides he doesn't want to become king so he tries out different jobs. Through a series of unfortunate events he finally realizes that being king is the right job for him.

This was a really fun technique to use! My teacher calls it the magic pill. It's a combination of gouache, oil paint, oil lift, and color pencils.

Art has been so much fun! The John Lennon picture is a pencil drawing, the two colored paintings are done in acrylic, and the black picture of john wayne is done with a sharpie marker.

I am loving my art class sooooo much! I'm taking color and design right now and it's really interesting! The pen cow, textured cow, and paper cut out "Crooked Old Man" are projects I've done for my color and design class. The pencil drawing with object is from my art class last semester. The acrylic painting of John Lennon was just for fun because hot dang the Beatles are swell!

This is my first semeter here at BYU-I. I love the art class I'm taking! It's so fun! This is a picture of the Pen drawing I did for my class. it's just dots so it took FOREVER! But it was fun! I just entered it into a student contest on campus and it won first place! Its so fun because it gets to hang in the art gallery on campus!

Hiking Table Rock

This summer me and my dad climbed table rock. It was so much fun! We climbed it two summers ago and carved my name in a tree. When we climbed it this summer we found the tree we had carved my name in, so we added 2007 to it. I thought it was neat that we found the tree since there are 7,378,094,378 trees to pass throughout the climb! I love hiking with my dad!

Ahooa! I finally put a picture on my blog! This is a picture of me and my chum Shaylee at the Sno Shack. It's our second summer working at the shack and we only have about two weeks left until it closes for the winter. Its been a really fun job and it's great getting to work with Shay!
